Like many college students, The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter likes to end her busy days with some much-needed rest and relaxation. Max, who is in her second year at Tufts University, apparently enjoys winding down by streaming older TV shows, specifically the 2000s cult classic series Gilmore Girls. The aspiring singer-songwriter recently revisited Episode 21 of Season 6, which included an amusing scene she couldn't help but share with her dad, Dr. Terry Dubrow.
“My daughter [Max Dubrow] just sent this to me,” the plastic surgeon captioned a September 20 Instagram post.
The video began with a shot of Max’s laptop, from which she was streaming the comedy-drama series. The clip featured the character of Richard Gilmore — portrayed by late actor Edward Herrmann — as he sat at the dinner table and shared his amusing take on doctors.

“Everyone knows ugly men make great doctors,” Richard said in the scene.
Max then turned the camera to her face and boldly told her dad: “You’re a great doctor.”
The funny moment underscored Max’s close relationship with her father, who recently rang in his 65th birthday. Max and her siblings celebrated the big day with heartwarming Instagram messages that included throwback photos of them with their dad.
“[H]appy birthday to my favorite person,” Max wrote in a September 14 Instagram Story. “I love being your mini me. Thank you for all the wisdom you have imparted on me and the amazing life you have given me. I love you so so so much dad!!!”

Most Bravo viewers were introduced to Max and her family in 2012, when her mom, Heather Dubrow, joined the cast of RHOC. Since then, we’ve seen Max hit multiple life milestones, including her decision to come out as bisexual and her preparation to leave the nest for college.
Max and her twin brother, Nick Dubrow, recently spoke to BravoTV.com about their reality TV experience and how it felt growing up in the public eye.
“It’s kind of all I’ve ever known,” the Tufts sophpomore told said in a Growing Up Bravo interview. “It’s kind of just normal to us now. A lot of people ask me if it’s annoying to have cameras at your house 24-7, and I kind of have to explain that’s not how it is.”
She continued: “I’m glad we did it and I’m glad it’s furthering my mom’s career, and that’s really all that matters, that she’s happy and doing what she loves. I also think it’s opened up a lot of amazing opportunities for me, which I’m extremely grateful about.”
