How Mauricio Umansky Gets in “Time For Myself” and Reveals His Luxe Vacation Plans
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband is baring all about his personal life outside of his business.
Mauricio Umansky has had one heck of a year to say the least amid his separation from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, Kyle Richards.
In this last year, following the news of that Mauricio and Kyle were taking time apart from their marriage, he moved out of their shared Encino home all while taking on new career challenges and expanding his real estate business, The Agency. After just turning 54 this week, it's safe to say that Mauricio still has a lot on his plate. But, he has a very special way of handling it all while taking time for himself.
Mauricio Umansky's comments on how he juggles his personal life and business
In an interview with Bisnow, Mauricio spilled on how he spends his free time, when he actually has it. This involves a lot of traveling and focusing on the important things. "I try really hard to take advantage of time for myself," he said.
"I work a lot on mindset, on meditation, on manifestation, and affirmations," he added. "I'm going to be basically traveling all of July, and to start my vacation, I'm checking myself into a meditation yoga retreat in Switzerland."
Mauricio is no stranger to traveling for both business and pleasure. The real estate agent and The Agency founder has gone on a number of trips this past year — from skiing in Aspen to spending some time in the Carolinas. But, this upcoming trip will allow Mauricio to really focus on himself, which is something that seems very important to him at the moment.
In fact, when speaking to Bisnow, he shared he has more traveling on his agenda: "My favorite thing to do in the world is ski. I travel to ski. I was in Japan, I was in Austria this year, next year I’m going to Alaska. Everything I do from the perspective of working out and staying in shape is so I can ski.

Mauricio now has even more time to himself since he moved out of his home that he shared with Kyle earlier this year. Kyle appeared on the Bitch Bible podcast in May where she opened up about this change, noting that it felt very strange for her, especially after living together for so many years.
"That was weird," she said. "I always knew that when that day came, it would feel strange, you know, very real all of a sudden and that's exactly what happened."
Even Kyle is getting in some time to sit in silence, too. "I'm used to having a lot of chaos and stuff going around in my house, and the day that he moved out was just strange because I came home and I was like, 'Everything's so quiet.'"
