Dr. Simone Whitmore Calls the Rumors About Mariah Huq "Some Vindictive S--t"
Married to Medicine's Dr. Simone Whitmore and Toya Bush-Harris come to the defense of their friend.
The rumors Quad Webb brought up about Mariah Huq at the Married to Medicine Season 6 reunion are still rocking the crew, as we saw in Sunday night's episode. The girls' trip to Savannah got off to a dramatic start as Mariah confronted Dr. Jackie Walters about repeating the gossip on her Open & Honest show with Dr. Heavenly Kimes, ultimately ending the episode in tears and prayers.
Toya Bush-Harris came to Mariah's defense while speaking out on the rumors on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday night (clip above). "I just couldn't believe it," she said, underscoring the fact that Mariah took a drug test whose results cover the past 10 years.
Toya's fellow WWHL guest Dr. Simone Whitmore also shot down the speculation. "The bottom line is, Andy, I've known Mariah since 2004. I've never known her to do drugs, no one's ever accused her of being on drugs, just some vindictive s--t happened at the reunion last year," she shared.
Later in the show, Dr. Simone also showed remorse for not coming to Mariah's defense sooner. "I was late speaking up, and I was wrong for being late," she said.
Quad stood by her allegation in Sunday night's episode of Married to Medicine. "She hurt me profusely over the years," she told Toya after she shared how much Mariah has been hurt by the rumors.
Quad also told Toya that despite their drama, she believes that she and Mariah are able to be cordial. "This is the best that her and I can do," she said.
