Riley Burruss Reacts to Mama Joyce and Todd Tucker’s Past Drama
The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughter of Kandi Burruss opens up about her family's life on TV.
To say that Kandi Burruss' mom, Joyce Jones, and her husband, Todd Tucker, haven't always been the best of friends might be an understatement. Over the course of the years on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the pair has weathered some ups and downs. But that drama went right over the head of Riley Burruss.
"I mean, when it first started, I don't think people realized I was, like, 10, so I really didn't realize what was going on and how crazy it was," Riley shared of their conflict on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday (May 10). "But now I think it's just kind of funny. I know for him it's probably way more serious, but, for me, it's just like, I have to laugh."
Riley previously addressed her own relationship with her grandmother, aka Mama Joyce, during a recent interview with Bravo Insider, which you can read here.
Elsewhere during the WWHL episode, Riley offered an update on her life as she closes out her first year at New York University. "I moved to New York. I am a freshman at NYU, and I'm starting to focus on YouTube. So that's that, but I'm just chilling, really, " she said. "I did pretty well, good enough, of course adjusting but I did pretty good [with my grades]."
Andy Cohen didn't just want to know about Riley's performance in her classes, but he also wanted to know if she's adjusted to doing chores around her own place since leaving her family's home in Atlanta. "There is still some concern, but I just choose to spend a couple extra dollars to get someone else to do it," she explained.
