Lynne Curtin's Daughter Alexa Curtin Files for Divorce Following Her Parents' Own Split
The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter is ending her marriage with Michael DeVecchio after nearly six years.
Alexa Curtin, the daughter of The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Lynne Curtin, has filed for divorce from her husband, Michael DeVecchio, after six years of marriage.
The couple filed a joint petition to end their marriage in Orange County on May 15, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. Alexa and Michael married on November 28, 2013 and separated two years later on June 1, 2015, the court documents state.
They do not share any children or community property, according to the petition. Their divorce will be final on November 16, 2019.
The news of Alexa's divorce comes a few months after she was arrested by the Irvine Police Department in January for possession of Xanax and possession of drug paraphernalia. Alexa was later released and charged with two misdemeanor drug charges.
Lynne also recently filed for divorce from husband, Frank Curtin, for a second time in April. The RHOC alum first filed for divorce from Frank in 2012, but neither party took action for five years, so a judge dismissed it in late 2017, leaving the two still married, according to TMZ.
Lynne shared an update on where things stood with her estranged husband during an interview with The Daily Dish over the phone in October 2018. "Never in a million years would I ever think that I was gonna be divorced, so it’s strange. I mean, I could talk to him on the phone and have a brief conversation," she said. "We don’t fight or anything. It’s just awkward, you know?"
