Luke Gulbranson Reacts to Ciara Miller's Recent Comments About Him on WWHL
The Winter House cast member opens up about the status of their friendship following their time in Vermont.
Luke Gulbranson first introduced Ciara Miller to his Hamptons housemates in Season 5 of Summer House — and we quickly learned that the two had a bit of a romantic past.
Luke and Ciara ultimately decided to just be friends last season of Summer House. And, as they reunite on Winter House, currently airing Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo, they seem to have remained pals as they get flirty with others in Stowe, Vermont.
But when Luke appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on November 10, one member of the virtual audience wanted to know if there was "any part of you that thought you and Ciara could rekindle something?" "You know, I don't close doors on things," Luke said during the WWHL After Show, above, before clarifying, "I was hoping that we could at least spark up a better friendship, but I don't know if we really did after last week."
What he's referring to here is Ciara's previous appearance in the Clubhouse on November 3 in which she was asked to name "the douchiest guy on Bravo," and she said Luke. On this past Wednesday's WWHL, Luke went on to share his reaction to hearing that Ciara felt that way about him. "Well, you know what, I put in a lot of work on the friendship I have with Ciara," he said. "And when she did say that, I was extremely surprised."
Luke ultimately concluded, "You take the high road. You can't control other people."
Though Ciara didn't elaborate on why she named Luke that night on WWHL, and she doesn't seem to have responded to his latest comments in the Clubhouse, they appeared to be in a good place after this season of Winter House, according to their social media. In fact, Luke shared a photo of them giving their best model faces together in the photo booth at Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula's wedding in September.
Ciara also shared what it was like living with Luke in the Winter House this season during a recent interview with ET. "He was the happiest he's been!" she joked. "He was like, I'm in my element. He's tapping trees for syrup. He is building igloos, wanting to just run wild in the woods. He honestly was living his best life in Vermont."
