Luke Gulbranson Explains Why It Was Hard to Return to the Summer House

When a heated conversation between the men of Summer House escalated, Luke Gulbranson ended up departing the Hamptons house for the night, leaving his housemates wondering if and when he would return. The model and hockey coach discussed the situation during the Summer House After Show, in the above clip available exclusively to Bravo Insiders. 

When asked if he thought Luke was going to come back, Kyle Cooke explained, “I just assumed he’s going to take some time—whatever that means for him—and we’ll just hash it out. That’s what guys do.” Carl Radke also weighed in, adding, “I was glad he left. It was the right thing to do, just to clear your head, get away from it all.” 

Luke opened up about what was running through his mind during the time he spent away from the house. “After what happened, you just think about, where is it going to go? Is it too soon to talk to anybody?” he said. “If affected the people around me that I care about, my reaction did, and that bothered me. I felt really bad.”

Although the guys all seemed to be prepared to move past the situation once they had talked things through, a few of the ladies expressed feeling awkward the next day when Luke returned. 

“The next day was tough, because Luke and I have always been good friends, but in that moment, I was very anti-Luke, I’m sorry man,” Danielle Olivera said. 

Luke seemed to understand how difficult his return may have been for his fellow housemates, saying, “I felt very lucky to come back in.
