Of all the men that have appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City over the years, perhaps none have been shrouded in as much mystery as Tomas — or "the Pirate," as he is better known. The RHONY ladies memorably met Tomas during their Season 5 trip to St. Barts, but how well some of them got to know him has remained a mystery since the episode first aired in 2012.

Now nearly 10 years later, The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Dolores Catania has reopened the case, taking another look at this "classic Housewives tale" in the latest installment of Bedtime By Bravo shared exclusively with Bravo Insider members during the Season of Getting.

In the above video, Dolores recounts this spicy story "about a late night, a local, and a lot of unanswered questions," putting a very Jersey spin on it all, naturally. But before Tomas even comes into the picture, we're reminded that this girls' trip where no boys were supposed to be allowed actually ended up with a lot of male energy. Carole Radziwill's boyfriend at the time, Russ, was actually the first to cause a stir with his visit to St. Barts.

Soon, however, it would become all about Tomas after he welcomed the New York Housewives to the club they stopped by that night. And though he seemed to mesmerize the RHONY crew, would Dolores have similarly been charmed? "Not interested," she says very flatly in the above clip. "This wouldn't do it for me — at all. I'm not into the dress-up Tomas coming with a pirate f--king outfit on. There's not enough liquor that I don't drink to make me excited about that."

But it was what may or may not have happened after the club that would come to define this RHONY getaway. "And that's when our fairy tale morphs into a mystery," Dolores says, although, she notes, "It might be a mystery for some, but not for me."

Dolores then recalls all the chatter surrounding Luann de Lesseps and Tomas after that night in St. Barts, including that phone call. For the record, Luann and Tomas have since both confirmed that nothing happened between them during that trip. But as Dolores says in Bedtime By Bravo, "The Countess has still left her friends royally confused to this very day," and, "This remains one of the great mysteries of all Housewives land."
