One of Luann de Lesseps' Exes Made a Hilarious Return to RHONY in the Latest Episode
Luann says they currently "have a really healthy relationship."
Luann de Lesseps has long been open about maintaining friendly relationships with her exes, and on the May 7 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, she proved that her ability to keep it casual is no joke. Luann grabbed lunch with ex Jacques Azoulay, so that the former couple could catch each other up on their lives.
“Jacques and I have a really healthy relationship,” Luann said in an interview during the episode. “He checks in with me, and I do the same. But now, Jacques is engaged, and that makes me happy! To see Jacques happy makes me happy, and that’s all I want for him.”
Luann shared her thoughts with viewers by live tweeting the episode, saying, “Jacques is like family to me.”
She then followed up with, “Unlike relationships, family last a lifetime.”
Of course, Jovani made its way into the conversation, and Luann tweeted that she loves “the way Jacques says Jovani.” For the record, Jacques did ask Luann who Jovani was during the episode, but she quickly brought him up to speed, played him a sample of “Feelin’ Jovani,” and asked him to make an appearance in her upcoming cabaret show. He took Luann up on her offer, and performed a standup set during her show later in the episode.
On May 7, Luann shared a clip of Jacques performing a standup routine at Gotham Comedy Club.
