Luann de Lesseps Clears up the Latest Berkshires Controversy
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member wants to clarify this one important detail.
Some craziness is always expected when The Real Housewives of New York City head to the Berkshires, but fans probably didn't see the latest controversy coming. When Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Tinsley Mortimer arrived to Dorinda Medley's Berkshires estate, Blue Stone Manor, they each moaned about the idea of staying in the "fish room," a guest room decorated with fish and shark mounts on the walls. Bethenny Frankel even called ahead and requested to stay in Dorinda's daughter Hannah Lynch's room.
So that meant that by the time Luann de Lesseps arrived, she had already been assigned the dreaded fish room — and she was definitely not pleased, to say the least.
"Don't tell me I'm in the fish room. If I'm in the fish room, I'm going to freak out," Luann insisted during the episode. She clarified that she didn't want to stay in that room because she once woke up with "the worst hangover" in it and "the walls are green and it's navy blue bed covers; it's like for a boy who's 14."
Once Luann heard that Bethenny, who hadn't yet arrived, had already laid claim to a room, Luann said, "So she comes tomorrow and she takes the nicest room in the house and I get the back room; I love it," adding, "You have an empty room tonight; Madam Bethenny is coming tomorrow and you're saving that room for her."
Bravo Pregame's Daryn Carp spoke to Luann and attempted to ascertain if she was mad at Dorinda for allowing Bethenny to choose her room before arriving, or if she was mad at Bethenny for making the request. Hear what Luann has to say in the episode at the top and tune into Wednesday's episode to see how the "fish room" debacle plays out once Bethenny arrives to Blue Stone Manor. Preview, below.
