Sonja Morgan Spills Details on Luann de Lesseps' Regal Bridal Shower
"I'm invited to the wedding. And like I said, no man's going to come in between me and Luann," Sonja said.
With a Palm Beach, Florida backdrop, three wedding dresses, and a performance by the Countess herself, Luann de Lesseps' wedding is shaping up to be the coolest event of the season. And let's not forget about all of the controversy surrounding her soon-to-be husband Thomas D'Agostino Jr. last season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
It's no wonder there's been a lot of talk about who's going to be invited to witness this momentous occasion. Luann has already confirmed that Dorinda Medley and RHONY alum Jill Zarin have scored an invitation, her exes Count Alexandre de Lesseps and Jacques Azoulay are welcome to come as well, and the Countess would essentially have to pay Bethenny Frankel for her to show up.
However, the status of Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer's invites has still yet to be publicly finalized. Ramona had still not received an invitation as of the end of August, but Sonja revealed to The Daily Dish that she has been invited to the nuptials. "Yeah, I'm invited to the wedding. And like I said, no man's going to come in between me and Luann," Sonja said at a press preview of her new Off-Broadway show Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man. "We've had so many men between us, I mean, why would it come between us now in our friendship? Our friendship will always be there. It's the men we don't know, right? We just don't know how long these men will last."
Though Sonja and Luann started off this season of RHONY as the cutest roomies ever, tension arose between the besties when Luann fell in love with Tom, who has also been romantically involved with Sonja in the past. But after sweetly hugging it out at the reunion, it appeared that their friendship was back on track.
In fact, these two are on such good terms these days that Sonja said she has received an invitation to Luann's bridal shower as well. And it sounds like Luann is really going to savor her Countess title before she relinquishes it upon marrying Tom. "I received the invitation to her bridal shower, and we have to wear tiaras," Sonja gushed. "Well, I have so many. I'm ready."
If this is how great of a time Luann and Sonja have at home, we can only imagine how amazing this upcoming bash will be.
