Lisa Rinna Admits It "Was Really Stupid" to Question Kyle's Defense of Kim Richards
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member addresses her argument with Kyle Richards.
Lisa Rinna always owns it, even when she makes a mistake.
During Denise Richards' dinner party earlier this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards said that she defends all of her friends after being accused of "blindly" defending Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. Kyle said she "would defend Rinna," who then replied, "Well, not always."
Lisa then cited Kyle's defense of her sister Kim Richards during their past drama as an example. Kyle disagreed with Lisa's statement and said that she did show her support during that time. When Lisa stood by her comments, Kyle became visibly upset and ended up leaving the party early.
Lisa showed remorse for the moment during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on May 20 (clip above). "Yes, here's the thing. That was the wrong example for me to make, and I should never have said that," Lisa shared. "I apologized for it because that's bad, and that was really stupid of me to say. It just was."
Lisa shared a similar sentiment when she addressed her argument with Kyle in the May 13 episode of RHOBH. "I'm sorry that I made that example because I want to go forward. I don't want to go back," Lisa told Kyle prior to daughters Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray Hamlin's clothing line event. "You're always there when it matters. It comes from my heart."
Kyle said that she accepted Lisa's apology in an interview during the episode — for the most part. "I do feel that Rinna's apology is genuine," Kyle said. "However, I'm sure that she's a little motivated because tonight is her daughters' event, and she doesn't want to make any waves."
So, Lisa was sorry for this comment to Kyle, but does she regret any of her past drama with Kim, from that Amsterdam wine toss to the Rinna Jayne moment to buying the bunny? See what she had to say on WWHL: @ Home, below.
Lisa and Kim finally squashed their beef during WWHL's BravoCon 2019 episode. Kim even extended an invitation to Lisa to her family's holiday party that year, which she accepted and even ended up attending.
