Did Carl Radke Have “a Point” When He Split from Lindsay Hubbard? Danielle Olivera Weighs In
The Summer House cast member revealed that the Hamptons housemates have varying opinions on Carl and Lindsay's unexpected split.
When Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard called off their engagement back in September, the news came as a shock to Summer House fans and cast members alike. However, it seems that some cast members are beginning to think that Carl had a "point" when he broke things off with Lindsay, as Danielle Olivera recently revealed.
In a recent panel discussion hosted by Page Six, the Donne founder said that some of the ladies in their group think that Carl "very much ... had a point" with his decision not to move forward with the wedding. Danielle, who's Lindsay's close friend, clarified that she does not take that stance.
“People do want to believe Carl’s side of that story and at the end of the day, I would love to believe that side of the story too. I just don’t right now,” she said.

Danielle continued: “I think it’s gonna take some time to figure out... there’s the real part, there’s Lindsay’s side, there’s Carl, and there’s somewhere we all lie.”
She added: "I think Carl and Lindsay were meant to be best friends and I think it has now been shattered and that’s not gonna happen ever again. I never wanted it to go down the way it went down.”
Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard Reunite at BravoCon 2023
After going their separate ways, Carl and Lindsay first saw each other in person at BravoCon 2023 back in November. On Day 1 of the event, Lindsay hosted an Amazon Live stream in which she answered a few questions while in hair and makeup.
The stream was aired just hours before the former couple both appeared on the BravoCon stage for The Summer House Always Wins panel.
“I’m definitely a little nervous to see Carl today on our panel,” she said during the November 3 stream. “I think it’s really the first time that I’ve seen him in a long time, and it’s gonna be in front of thousands of fans. I don’t know how my emotions are gonna to react in that moment. I don’t if I’m gonna get emotional. I don’t know if I’m going to, you know, feel any certain ways or be sad or angry.”
Later, after the panel had started, Lindsay admitted she was “really nervous” and “shaking” in her seat. For his part, Carl said he was “nervous as well” but “grateful” to be at BravoCon 2023.
