LeeAnne Locken Posts a Message "From the Bottom of [Her] Heart" Following RHOD Exit
The Real Housewives of Dallas charity maven thanks fans for their love and support throughout her journey.
Following the news that she will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Dallas, LeeAnne Locken shared a heartfelt message for fans on Instagram.
LeeAnne expressed her gratitude to fans for all of their love and support over the past four seasons of the show. "From the bottom of my heart I want [to] THANK YOU ALL for your kindness, your love [and] for making me laugh when I thought I couldn’t," LeeAnne posted on Instagram on February 25. "YOU are what kept me going and YOU are who I will always be GRATEFUL for!"
She also included some of her favorite memories from her time on the show, including her wedding to Rich Emberlin and donning a hot dog costume while holding her dog, also wearing a hot dog costume, in what would become one of the most iconic Real Housewives interview looks ever.
LeeAnne confirmed her departure from RHOD in a statement to PEOPLE on Tuesday, February 25. “The last four years have been a trolley-slapping good time but after much consideration, I have made the personal decision to step away from RHOD,” she said.
“Getting to share my wedding with the viewers last year brought me tremendous joy, however, the season was very personally challenging for me,” she continued. “I am looking forward to stepping away from the cameras and spending quality time with my husband and friends, traveling, but most importantly, getting back to philanthropy, which was my main reason for joining the show.”
"Thank you to everyone who has laughed and cried with me along the way,” LeeAnne concluded her statement. “It’s been an amazing journey, and yes my pantyliner is still exhausted. There are so many exciting things on my horizon that I can’t wait to share with you.”
