LeeAnne Locken Reveals Why She "100 Percent" Lost Her Zen and Poked Brandi Redmond
The Real Housewives of Dallas ladies' beef came to a head in the Season 3 finale.
Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Dallas came to an end on Wednesday night, and it definitely went out with a bang — not that we would expect anything less from these Lone Star ladies. The tension between LeeAnne Locken and Brandi Redmond kept building and building all season long, and it finally came to a head at Travis Hollman's frat party. In short, LeeAnne and Brandi got all up in each other's grills — while wearing costumes, by the way — culminating in LeeAnne poking Brandi in the chest.
Some wondered if this moment showed the old LeeAnne coming out again after she had worked so hard to control that kind of behavior with meditation and singing bowls this season. Because of that, one fan wondered how LeeAnne could justify her actions with Brandi when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Wednesday night (clip above). LeeAnne agreed with the caller that she "totally" and "100 percent" lost her zen in that instance. However, she said that Brandi pushed her to get to that place. "She kept stepping into my personal space," LeeAnne explained. "Literally, I could feel her breath on my skin, and that's what she wanted."
Brandi gave her take on why the moment got so heated in her latest blog on Bravotv.com. "I came to my breaking point when LeeAnne tried to say that she didn't call D’Andra [Simmons] and me alcoholics, justifying it as she just told people that she thinks we have drinking problems, as if that is any better. She really feels like she can go around and spread whatever gossip she wants and no one is going to call her out on it," Brandi wrote. "In true LeeAnne fashion, when she is backed in a corner with no way to defend her actions, she resorts to threats and physical violence. You can growl at me all you want honey, I am not scared of you. Come to think of it, maybe that’s what bothers her the most—I'm not scared of her."
RHOD fans know that LeeAnne's relationship with Brandi has had more downs than ups over the past three seasons. And, as LeeAnne told ET during a recent interview, she is "o-ver it!" “Brandi has chosen that she's just not gonna like me and instead of actually accepting it herself that she just doesn't like me and literally just not doing anything with me,” she said, “It's just, like, yeah. I feel like the entire Target store, arrows flying everywhere.”
It should come as no surprise that LeeAnne and Brandi's drama is far from over at the RHOD Season 3 reunion, kicking off Wednesday at 10/9c. Get your first look at it all, below.
