Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan Address Relationship Critics Who Call Her a “Gold Digger”
She also revealed whether her four kids approve of her relationship.
Shortly after Larsa Pippen went public with boyfriend Marcus Jordan in January, she fired back at those who criticized their 16-year age difference, saying that the two “have everything in common.”
In addition to their age difference, the couple has also dealt with remarks about their unique connection. Larsa was married to retired basketball player Scottie Pippen, while Marcus is the son of Scottie’s former Chicago Bulls teammate Michael Jordan.
During an appearance on Page Six’s podcast, The Real Housewives of Miami cast member and her Trophy Room store owner beau sounded off on yet another rumor about their romance.

Though Marcus and Larsa try not to let the negative comments affect them, there is one misconception about their relationship that does bother them.
“I feel like the money thing is annoying,” Larsa said about how some have said the RHOM cast member is only dating Marcus because of his family’s wealth.
“Yeah, I feel like people try to say Larsa’s a gold digger and she’s after the Jordan money or something,” Marcus said. “She’s such an independent, career-driven woman. She’s got it going on… It’s the one comment or commentary that I’ve got to refrain from commenting back on.”
The pair, who are now co-hosting their own podcast, also opened up about whether Larsa’s four children approve of their relationship.

Marcus and Larsa may hear some negative comments about their relationship, but her four kids are definitely in her corner.
The Larsa Marie jewelry creator, who shares daughter Sophia and sons Scotty Jr., Preston, and Justin with her retired NBA player ex, confirmed that her kids have a special bond with her current beau during a chat with Us Weekly.
“[My kids], they love Marcus. Like, they love him and I feel like we talk about the same things. So when I’m talking to my older son, Scotty, about basketball, Marcus is in on the conversation,” Larsa said about her eldest son, who is a professional player. “[Then when I’m] talking to my son Preston about fashion, Marcus has a clothing store — he has a boutique — so he chimes in. It is just an easy fit for our family.”
Marcus also told the outlet that Larsa is “best friends” with her children, so it’s been easy to connect with them. “It’s one of the things that I admire about her,” he added.
