Here's Proof That Lala Kent and Scheana Shay's Daughters Remain the Cutest "Besties"
The Vanderpump Rules mom shared a sweet moment from their families' Hawaiian getaways.
Although Lala Kent and Scheana Shay have remained close over the years, it's their daughters who are really giving friendship goals.
This was further illustrated via Instagram on Saturday (December 14), when the Vanderpump Rules mom reshared the sweetest photos of their girls hanging out in Hawaii. The picture captured Ocean Kent Emmett, whom Lala shares with her ex-fiancé, sitting on the beach with Scheana’s daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies.
“Besties at the beach on the North Shore, Oahu,” Lala captioned the snap, which showed Ocean in the cutest palm tree-patterned swimsuit and Summer Moon in an adorable pink sundress with a red and white floral print.
Lala Kent reflects on her family's "zero pressure" vacation
Lala and her family left California around Thanksgiving and headed to Hawaii for a 10-day vacation. The former SUR hostess spoke about the getaway in the latest episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, saying it’s been the “funnest” trip she’s ever taken.
“The thing that’s great about [Hawaii] is we wake up and there is zero pressure,” she told her brother/co-host Easton Burningham. “And we’ve talked about this as a family before: We are chillers. We are not the type of people to sit there and be like, ‘Sunday, we’re going out on a boat...’ We’re just not planners. We wake up and we see how we feel… And I think that’s what I love about this trip.”
Lala reflects on creating memories with her Ocean
Lala said she planned to extend next year's Hawaiian trip from 10 days to a couple of weeks… or, perhaps, a full month. The Utah native said she wanted a longer vacation because it gave her more time to create memories with her family.
“I hope [Ocean] is going to remember coming to Hawaii when she gets older. She is starting to have memories,” Lala said. “This trip to Hawaii, again, is one of the most amazing [getaways]. We’re gonna extend next year.”
As Lala reflected on the vacation, Ocean entered the room and recalled a special moment she had on vacation.
“I saw three sea turtles,” the 3-year-old said.
“Three sea turtles?! And what are you going to do today?” Lala asked.
“See Summer Moon!” Ocean said. “Yaaay!”
Scheana shares a peek at her family's Hawaiian getaway
Scheana, who welcomed Summer Moon just a month after Ocean’s birth, also documented her Hawaiian getaway on Instagram. The “Good as Gold” singer posted photos of her and her husband, Brock Davies, riding a boat with “Captain Summer,” a few snaps of the family’s pool day, and a video of her daughter’s ukulele lessons. Scheana also shared a carousel of her and Summer Moon’s matching vacation looks.
“Forever twins,” she captioned the carousel.
