Lala Kent Provides a New Look at Her Incredible Backyard Pool
The Vanderpump Rules mom showed off the outdoor space during a relaxing pool day with her daughter.
Lala Kent is splashing into the holiday weekend.
Just days before her expected due date, the Vanderpump Rules mom treated herself to a backyard pool day at her new SoCal home. Lala documented the afternoon in an August 29 Instagram Story in which her little girl, Ocean Kent Emmett, showed off her swimming skills.

The video began with Ocean climbing up a tiny slide near the edge of the pool while her momma looked on. Lala, who flaunted her baby bump in a bikini, sat in the water while providing a cute introduction for her little one.
“Next on the diving board, standing at 3 feet, 3 inches [tall] at 3 and a half [years old], weighing 30 pounds, we have Olympian Ocean Kent!” Lala announced from the side.
Ocean then went down the slide as her mom and others cheered.
“Yaay,” Lala said during her applause. “Oh, she’s got a synchronized swimming routine added to her repertoire. That was great!”

The video also provided a new glimpse at Lala’s incredible home she purchased earlier this year. Located in San Fernando Valley, the $3.1 million abode boasts five bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, double-height ceilings, and a two-bed-two-bath guest house. But, perhaps, the most impressive home feature is the next-level outdoor space.
As seen in Lala’s Instagram Story, the backyard includes a full-sized swimming pool with an attached hot tub, lush greenery for extra privacy, and black sunloungers that lined the stone pool coping.
Lala showed off her outdoor oasis back in July when she posted photos and videos of its half-size basketball court, dining area, and sleek kitchenette.
Lala Kent explains why she moved to the Valley
After years of renting in Los Angeles, the former SUR hostess decided to cop a single-family home about 30 minutes outside the city. She spoke about the purchase in the May 13 episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, explaining why she relocated to the Valley.
“I bought my house in the Valley because it’s all I could afford,” she said. “I would’ve liked to have been in the Beverly Hills Flats, b*tch, but I can’t afford it… yet. OK? I did not move there because I wanted to be on The Valley. I moved there 'cause that’s what I could afford.”
Lala Kent prepares to welcome her second child
Lala — who shares Ocean with her ex-fiancé — is now gearing up to welcome baby No. 2, who is expected to arrive on September 1. The Utah native spoke about her fertility journey in Vanderpump Rules Season 11, explaining why she wanted to use a sperm donor for her second pregnancy.
“I know this is not the norm, and I just feel like going the donor route is the right decision for me,” she said in Episode 7 (March 12). “I want an absolute with this baby. No matter what, this is my baby. No one can ever come in and take it from me. I don’t have to share it on Christmas Day. Just mine.”
