This Is How Lala and Katie “Neutralized” Stassi’s Dark Passenger: The Moment You Didn’t See
The Vanderpump Rules ladies knew exactly how to get Stassi back to a good place. But how?
Before Beau Clark proposed to Stassi Schroeder on Vanderpump Rules, tensions were very high. The couple got into an argument at the Witches of WeHo Potion No.3 launch party and Stassi stormed off. It seemed as though Stassi's "dark passenger" emerged once again, causing her to unfairly project her feelings. Luckily, friends Lala Kent and Katie Maloney-Schwartz were able to tackle the issue before it escalated further.
During the Vanderpump Rules Season 8 After Show, Stassi and Beau sat down to discuss the scary relationship moment (which happened the day before Beau was set to propose).
Stassi explained, "After Katie and Lala called me, I was just like, 'OK, OK.' I was way calmer than I would ever be... in a fight..."
"Wait! Interjection," Beau shouted, adding, "I called Katie, I called Lala... I was in the car with Katie and then, I was like, 'Katie, you need to get in there and you need to come in and help me out!'"
Beau insisted that he couldn't speak to Stassi in that state and asked Lala and Katie for help, saying, "Originally, I was like, 'That's some dark passenger s--t right there. I'm not going to go into the dark passenger's apartment!'"
After working through some logistics about who did what in the situation, the couple came to the conclusion that Lala and Katie's phone calls "neutralized" Stassi's dark passenger, and Beau's pleas helped put everything in place.
The bride-to-be recalled the unseen moment, saying, "I stopped being angry and I was like, OK, this is weird that I'm getting texts from one, calls from the other — and they're just like, 'This was ridiculous, Stassi. You're being ridiculous.' And I just felt stupid and I was like, 'OK.' And so, when he came in, I don't remember even if any of us said I'm sorry..."
