There's no shortage of shocking revelations in the new, extended Vanderpump Rules Season 11 trailer.

From Tom Schwartz's love triangle featuring his ex, Katie Maloney, to Ariana Madix's new long-distance relationship, to Katie's friendship issues with Lala Kent, it's clear that the drama continues as the group looks to "pick up the pieces" following Season 10.

In addition to the surprising new teaser, a press release for the upcoming season offers new insight into the complicated dynamics among the former SURvers. After years of not getting along and following a blowout argument during the group beach day on Season 10, Lala and Schwartz have formed an "unexpected" friendship.

Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz's Friendship, Explained

According to her official bio, Lala is embarking on a new chapter in her life on Season 11.

"Lala Kent is still in the midst of a challenging custody battle, but being the best mom to Ocean remains her priority," her bio reads. "Wanting to give her daughter a sibling, Lala explores fertility treatments and looks for a sperm donor as a single mother."

In addition to focusing on expanding her family, Lala is also expanding her circle of friends. 

"She finds an unlikely connection with Tom Schwartz, forming a friendship that neither saw coming, but creating tension between her and the rest of the girls as her forgiveness for the Toms grows," the bio continues.

Lala Kent's Complicated Friendship with Katie Maloney

Lala's burgeoning friendship with Schwartz could explain some of the tension seen between her and his ex-wife, Katie, in the teaser. 

In one moment from the video, Katie tells Lala that she's acting "a little much."

"You're a bit much all the f-cking time," Lala fires back. 

What Else to Expect from Vanderpump Rules Season 11

Per the press release for the upcoming set of episodes, the cameras began rolling for Season 11 "as the former SURvers attempt to pick up the pieces following a scandal that jolted the tight-knit friend group."

"With resentments, forgiveness and shifting alliances, they attempt to navigate the lines drawn in the sand while rebuilding friendships, developing their businesses and healing from past relationships," the release continues. 
Lala, Katie, Schwartz, and Ariana are joined in the cast by Lisa Vanderpump, Scheana Shay, James Kennedy, and Tom Sandoval. Ally Lewber, and Brock Davies are back as well.
