Kyle Richards Sets the Record Straight on Relationship with PK: "He Would Own Up to That..."
RHOBH's Kyle Richards also addressed the rumor that PK Kemsley and Mauricio Umansky live in the same building.
Kyle Richards' friendship with Paul "PK" Kemsley has caused quite a stir on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, and the diamond holder is now setting the record straight on the true nature of their relationship.
On the December 17 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kyle explained why the text message topic may have been confusing for viewers.
"There was a little discrepancy here. Obviously, if you've been friends with somebody for this many years, you text now and then, but what I was referring to was, when I said he reached out to me, it was when he heard I was separated, he reached out to me," Kyle explained to host Andy Cohen.
The rest of their messages, she added, were always very lighthearted.
"And then he always sends DMs with jokes, always, for years. So, I didn't think that was weird," she continued. "And Dorit [Kemsley] and I weren't even speaking, but he still kept sending jokes."
Though some of the RHOBH ladies may have been suggesting that the messages between Kyle and PK were inappropriate, Kyle scoffed at the notion.
"The PK thing is silly," she said. "Obviously, there's nothing weird with PK and I. I mean PK's like — no offense, he's one of the girls. And he would own up to that, by the way."

Though Kyle and PK would exchange messages from time to time in the past, she said on WWHL that's come to an end nowadays.
When asked to share the last time she spoke to PK, Kyle admitted, "Oh, I don't even remember. A long time."
Why Kyle Richards was "surprised" by PK and Dorit Kemsley's split
The mom of four knew that Dorit and PK were dealing with problems in their marriage, but she was still taken aback when the spouses announced their separation in May 2024.
"Well, she had shared with the girls in Vegas, meaning Erika [Jayne], [Lisa] Rinna, and me that there [were] issues," she said on WWHL. "and then I heard things, you know, the rumor mill, but I was surprised it went straight to, like, they are separated."
Did PK confide in Kyle about his relationship issues with Dorit?
Andy asked Kyle this on WWHL. "No," Kyle responded, though she did have a different answer when the host asked if PK confided in Mauricio.
"He confided in Mau, but Mau would not give me the details," she said. "There was definitely a very strong guy code there. He would just say, 'Not great,' and then he wouldn't say anything else."

Elsewhere on WWHL, a fan asked Kyle about paparazzi photos circulating online that appeared to show Dorit walking out of a building. When asked whether PK and Mauricio live in the same building, Kyle said no.
"No, he doesn't," she said, before sharing that the aforementioned photos were actually taken years ago. "I don't know where PK lives, but they were showing pics of Dorit and Mau outside somewhere, that was in Mexico [and] we were there, too, from I don't know when."
