Kyle Reveals Where She Stands with Dorit Amid "Different But Similar" Marriages Struggles

Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills documented the downfall of Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley's friendship.

After exchanging some tense words at the Season 13 reunion, and admitting throughout the season that they had drifted apart, Kyle admitted that things were different between them. But, after Dorit announced in May that she and her husband, Paul "PK" Kemsley, were taking some time apart from their marriage, some suspected this would bring her closer to Kyle. After all, Kyle's separation from her own husband, Mauricio Umansky, was documented on this past season of RHOBH.

Kyle, however, recently revealed the current status of her friendship with Dorit — and it seems like things are definitely different between them.

Kyle Richards says things are "not good" with Dorit Kemsley

Kyle told Us Weekly on June 20 that things have changed between her and Dorit. "The dynamics have shifted tremendously this year," she said.

Dorit and Kyle appear in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, Episode 17.

While Kyle admitted to the publication that they "should be" supporting each other in their current separations, that hasn't been the case. "Unfortunately, that's not where we're at right now in our relationship," she said. "We're both going through different but similar situations. So, it is unfortunate that we're in this position."

Kyle Richards' comments on Dorit Kemsley and Paul "PK" Kemsley's separation

Kyle has been supportive in her comments about Dorit and PK's separation. "I feel bad for them," Kyle said during a May 15 Amazon Live stream. "You know, going through that is difficult enough without everybody wanting to know all the details. So, you know, I feel terribly for them."

Although Dorit was hard on Kyle about her own separation, she said during a May 30 Amazon Live stream that she wouldn't be reciprocating with questions "like she did." "But, you know, I hope to eventually be able to be there for her," Kyle admitted. "That would be nice, [but] right now we have things, obviously, to work through."

Kyle Richards says things have "shifted" with the RHOBH cast

After admitting that things have been "not great" between her and Dorit, Kyle told Us Weekly that things have also shifted with the rest of the RHOBH cast. "We're just sort of starting out," she said. "Like I said, the dynamics have shifted, but they're constantly shifting and changing. So, we'll see where we end up."

Luckily, Kyle has had her older sister, Kathy Hilton, to rely on during these uncertain times as she returns to being a friend of the cast. "She is off to the races," Kyle said. "She tries to keep the light. Her main goal, because of what I've been going through, is to try to make me laugh."
