Kathy Hilton Sheds New Light on Kyle Richards & Mauricio Umansky's "Very Scary" Split
The RHOBH friend also shared how her sister is handling the ongoing separation.
Kathy Hilton is sharing an update on her sister, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, as she continues to grapple with her ongoing separation from Mauricio Umansky.
"You know, there's good days for Kyle and then there's tough days," Kathy told ET on June 7. "And I am there talking to her every day, several times, and I wanna be there for her."
While Kathy naturally wants to be a source of support for her sister, there's no denying how worrisome the situation is. Like she said, "It's very scary after almost 28 years."
"She's been married her whole life," Kathy continued. "And the four children. It doesn't matter what age. It's heartbreaking."

The RHOBH friend — who's set to return to the franchise for the upcoming 14th season — went on to reflect on the Season 13 reunion, which she attended as a show of support because it was there that Kyle unpacked the demise of her and Mauricio's marriage.
"I wanted to be there and just hold her hand," Kathy said. "I wanted to be there and be supportive. It was great to see all the girls again."
Kathy Hilton Believes Kyle and Mauricio's Split Was Years in the Making
While there, fans may recall that Kathy also shared her take on the split. She, more specifically, revealed she believes that Kyle and Mauricio have been dealing with difficulties in their marriage for several years.
"[Mauricio] is going one way, she's going one way, and they're both trying to work," Kathy said at the time. "He's dancing for four months on Dancing with the Stars. Kyle, she's not a compulsive person to just jump and make a decision."
"Kyle didn't decide this in three months," Kathy continued. "This, for sure, I bet she had been thinking and feeling probably the last three [or] four years," the mom of four added. "I shouldn't say that, but I did."
