The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has gotten very close with her country musician bestie.
When Kyle Richards announced that she had been spending time with her new friend, Morgan Wade, on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, some cast members were hesitant to accept it.
Kyle's friendship with the Nashville-based country music singer seemed to come out of left field, especially since the news came in the middle of her separation from her long-time husband, Mauricio Umansky.
But, in the time since then, Kyle's relationship with Morgan has simply grown into something much stronger than anyone expected. The photos from their friendship show just how close they have gotten to one another and just how much admiration that they have for each other.

How did Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade Meet?
Before Kyle became close with the 28-year-old singer-songwriter, she was just a fan of her music. Kyle first heard about Morgan when she heard one of her songs, "Wilder Days" on the radio. After falling in love with the song, Kyle started to listen to the rest of her music and the rest was history.
"I was like, 'Wow, this girl is really blowing me away with her voice and the lyrics.' And I looked her up on Instagram and I was like, 'Oh.' I don't know, the tattoos and everything, I wasn't really expecting that," Kyle previously said. "So I followed her and then I kept listening to her music, on, like, repeat. And then she sent me a DM asking me why I was following her."
Morgan Wade's First Thoughts on Kyle Richards
While Kyle never expected to be friends with a musician with so many tattoos, Morgan never expected to be friends with her, period. After Kyle slid into Morgan's DMs, Morgan spoke about their unlikely connection.
"I just didn't expect someone from Beverly Hills, ya know? My friends freaked out," Morgan previously said of Kyle.
Kyle Richards on making a documentary about Morgan Wade
Kyle became so enamored with Morgan's music that she started shooting a documentary on her. In 2023, Kyle had been following Morgan to Paris while she was on tour to film her for the documentary.
"I'll probably be shooting that for [a few] more months," Kyle told Us Weekly in December 2023. "It started out as a documentary and kind of turned into something else...I better stop."
How Morgan Wade impacted Kyle Richards' health journey
Because Kyle had been spending so much time with Morgan for work, Morgan ended up having a positive impact on Kyle's health journey, telling Us Weekly that Morgan has motivated her. This can be seen in photos of both Kyle and Morgan wearing workout gear together, like in the photo down below.
"I've been shooting a documentary on the road with Morgan, so we'll go to the gym together," Kyle said.
Kyle has also abstained from drinking, and it helps that Morgan is sober, too, according to People. "I just really feel like alcohol wasn't serving me," Kyle said during an episode on RHOBH Season 13. "I wanted to do whatever it took to make me feel better physically and spiritually."
During a confessional in Season 13 Episode 6, Kyle opened up about her connection to her friend. "Morgan has been sober for six years, and it is nice to have friends that you have things in common with," she said. "We like to work out. We don't like to drink. It's nice to surround yourself with like-minded people."
But, their lack of drinking hasn't stopped them both from going out. Kyle and Morgan have been seen hitting the town at night over the course of their friendship, looking absolutely fabulous.
Morgan Wade Inspired Kyle Richards' New Tattoos
In addition to influencing her health journey, Morgan has also influenced Kyle to get some new tattoos, as seen on RHOBH Season 13. Morgan made her debut on the show in Season 13 Episode 6, when Kyle and Morgan visited a tattoo parlor together where they both got some fresh new ink.
"I overthink these things...you clearly just don't overthink," Kyle said of Morgan's tattoos.
Kyle then tattooed a "K" on Morgan's arm during the episode, noting that "no one else" had been tattooed by Kyle before.

During an October appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kyle opened up about her close friendship with Morgan, noting that they "talk every day."
"I can tell you that she is absolutely one of my best, best, friends in the world, as well as Teddi [Mellencamp Arroyave]," Kyle explained. "We're all very close."
Kyle Richards' on being "drawn" to Morgan Wade
During RHOBH Season 13 Episode 11, Morgan performed at Kyle's celebration of life event for her late friend, Lorene. During a confessional in the episode, Kyle spoke about what connected her to Morgan at first.
"Initially, I was drawn to Morgan by her music," Kyle explained. "Morgan's lyrics really spoke to me because she was just so raw and open and honest and just putting it all out there. And I admire that in someone, especially someone who has struggled with that myself. I appreciate that quality in someone."
Kyle's love and appreciation of Morgan's music led to her appearing in the music video for Morgan's song, "Fall in Love with Me." In the video, Kyle played a woman whose interest was piqued when a new neighbor, played by Morgan, moved in next door. As the video goes on, Kyle begins to plot on how to make Morgan's character fall in love with her.

Although Morgan has deleted all of her photos with Kyle from her Instagram feed in the past, Kyle has insisted that there is no drama between her and Morgan. Kyle addressed this in an interview with Page Six in January.
"[She's got music] coming out," Kyle explained to photographers at the time. "It's very common for artists to do that. That didn't mean anything."
Although Kyle and Morgan might be seeing less of each other in person, it is because they live two very separate lives. Kyle is based in Los Angeles, where she is raising her family, while Morgan is focused on her music career in Nashville. "She's great," Kyle said of Morgan during a May 14 appearance on The Bitch Bible podcast.
"She's good and we're good," she added. "And she's on tour right now and just on the road busy busy. I'm here in L.A."
Kyle Richards on what's next for her and Morgan Wade
In an interview with The Daily Dish in February, Kyle said that she does not know what the future has in store for her and her BFF. But, the possibilities are endless. They could collaborate together, again, or they could just hang out, like they did in the photo below.
"I don't know, I mean, who knows?" she said. "You know, we did do the music video, but it was fun doing the documentary, and who knows about the future?"
Inside Kyle Richards' latest hang-out session with Morgan Wade
In case anyone needed proof that Kyle and Morgan are doing OK, the two friends were seen hanging out together at a party with actresses Christa Miller and Isla Fisher. Christa took to Instagram on June 17, where she posted a selfie of the foursome together.
Kyle reposted the photo, noting that the four of them are a part of a "dream team." This photo is pretty much proof that their friendship is stronger than ever.
