Kyle Richards Reveals Her Holiday Plans — and Whether Mauricio Umansky Is "Welcome to Join"
The RHOBH mom and her daughters will ring in the holidays at their Aspen home.
Kyle Richards intends to spend the holidays skiing in Aspen alongside her family. But it’s unclear if the snowy activities will include her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom was asked about her end-of-year plans during a brief chat with TMZ, just days after Mauricio shared an inside look at his ongoing Aspen vacation. Although Kyle confirmed she and Mauricio would spend the holidays in the mountain town, she wasn’t sure if they would reunite on the slopes.

“I’m going to be with my family — my daughters. That’s my home,” she said about her Aspen getaway. “Of course, I’m gonna ski… I’m going to enjoy my downtime. I’m just taking time off of work now.”
“Do those plans include Mauricio?” the cameraperson asked.
“I mean, I’m going to be skiing with my girls,” Kyle responded. “He’s welcome to join.”

The holiday season comes more than 17 months after Kyle and Mauricio announced their separation. The former couple exchanged “I dos” in 1996 and went on to raise four daughters together: Alexia, Sophia, and Portia Umansky, as well as Farrah Brittany from Kyle’s first marriage.
In the year and a half since confirming their split, Kyle and Mauricio have put on a united front while insisting they still love each other. And although she and Mauricio appear to be in a really good place, Kyle admitted there’s some uncertainty surrounding their relationship as they’ve yet to pursue legal separation. In fact, the Beverly Hills mom claimed they've yet to discuss the topic of divorce.

“That’s not something that we’ve talked about yet… It just hasn’t come up yet,” she said during her December 17 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “You know, we’re good friends, and we get along really well, and I don’t know, we just live separate lives and it just hasn’t come up yet. And when the time comes, obviously, we will address it.”
Kyle said she wasn’t exactly “psyched” to have that conversation, as she and Mauiricio were content with their current dynamic.
“It’s hard and it’s not something either one of us feel comfortable initiating,” she continued. “We just kind of let it go and just really good friends, and we care about each other, and we get along, so it’s like, it is what it is right now.”
