Kyle Richards Reveals Her Surprising Status with Mauricio: "I've Just Tried to Avoid That"
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member just gave a major update on where she stands with Mauricio Umansky.
Kyle Richards and estrange husband, Mauricio Umansky, are "texting" amid their current separation. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 has seen Mauricio moving out, while Kyle has dealt with the aftermath. But, she just confirmed that she and Mauricio are in communication and doing well as they navigate their split.
Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Andy Cohen on Dec. 17, where she gave a major update on their relationship, as seen in the video above. When host Andy Cohen asked "how often" Kyle communicates with Mauricio, she revealed that they are "texting" one another, "sometimes" on a daily basis, but "pretty much" every couple of days. And when it comes to speaking in person or over the phone, they do that "maybe a couple of times a week."
But that wasn't all the updates that Kyle spilled on her current situation with Mauricio while in the WWHL Clubhouse.

Kyle admitted to Andy that she has not been to Mauricio's new apartment, which he has been living in since moving out of their Encino house earlier this year. But, she is open to visiting the new space. "I would love to see it," she said. "It just hasn't worked out because of my schedule and traveling and his schedule."
The mom of four previously discussed Mauricio's apartment with him during RHOBH Season 14, Episode 3, after he decided to sign a six-month lease. "I'm like, thinking about you in this condo with no dogs, no gate training," Kyle told Mauricio during the episode, as he laughed. "You literally have like no responsibilities over there. Free as a f--king breeze, aren't you?"

Kyle further revealed to Andy during her WWHL appearance this week that she has not met any woman that Mauricio has dated since their split. But, they have discussed his dating life, which will be seen during an upcoming episode of RHOBH Season 14.
"We did, coming up on camera this season," Kyle admitted. "Other than that, I've just tried to avoid that."
Kyle admitted that she has thought about dating other people, but she didn't share any other details about that. And she didn't reveal if she has gone on any dates since their separation.

Despite these arrangements, Kyle revealed on WWHL that she and Mauricio have "not talked" about getting a divorce just yet. "And the reason I didn't, you know, talk about that on camera is because that is something I would obviously have to talk about with him first," she said.
Kyle continued, noting that making their separation permanent "hasn't come up yet." "We're good friends, we get along really well," she explained. "I don't know, we live separate lives, and it just hasn't come up yet. When the time comes, we will address it."
She also revealed that she isn't "psyched" to have the conversation about divorce with Mauricio. "It's hard, and it's not something either one of us feels comfortable initiating, and we just kind of let it go," she concluded. "We're just really good friends and we care about each other...it is what it is right now."
