Kyle Richards Seemingly Tweaks Her Instagram Bio Amid Mauricio Umansky Separation
Did RHOBH's Kyle Richards just hint at the future of her split from Mauricio Umansky?
Kyle Richards may have just hinted at a change in her separation status from Mauricio Umansky.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, who confirmed her split from the real estate agent in October 2023 after months of speculation, appeared to remove the word "wife" from her Instagram bio on July 18.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Kyle's bio, which once apparently read "Mom, wife, actor, producer, animal lover..." now says "Mom, actor, author, producer, animal lover..."
Kyle has yet to publicly comment on the potential elimination of the word "wife" from her social media page.
She previously removed the surname "Umansky" from her Instagram page as well, though she has always used her maiden name professionally.

Are Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky officially divorced?
Though Kyle and her husband of 28 years have been separated for more than a year, neither party has yet to make a move toward legalizing their split.
Back in January 2024, Kyle appeared on Jeff Lewis Live, and she revealed that the couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement before they wed in 1996.
"We did not have a prenup," the diamond holder shared. "My husband did not have a penny when I married him… He was in the clothing business when I met him, making no money."
The couple built their empire — which includes Mauricio's real estate brokerage, The Agency; Kyle's acting and producing endeavors; and numerous properties — after they wed. As a result, it might be more complicated for them to divorce.
"He didn’t have any money when I married him and it’s our money," she added. "Let’s be very clear about that. It’s [a] very clean cut. Everything is half regardless."
Do Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky still live together?
After announcing their split, Kyle and Mauricio continued to live under the same roof of their Encino property (albeit, in different parts of the sprawling home). However, in May 2024, Kyle confirmed that Mauricio had moved out of the house, and into a condo in West Hollywood.
"That was weird," Kyle said during an episode of the Bitch Bible podcast. "I always knew that when that day came, it would feel strange, you know, very real all of a sudden, and that's exactly what happened."
She noted that Mauricio moved out when she was away, which was "the smart thing to do."
"I'm used to having a lot of chaos and stuff going on around in my house, and the day that he moved out was just strange because I came home and I was like, 'Everything's so quiet,'" she said.
Are Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky back together?
As of July 2024, the pair remains separated. Kyle hinted that the two were on amicable terms when she attended his 54th birthday dinner at Catch Steak in West Hollywood in June. After the dinner, Mauricio told TMZ that Kyle had purchased him "nice" presents for his big day.
However, just a few weeks later, Kyle seemingly removed the word "wife" from her bio, so fans will have to stay tuned to find out where things currently stand between the estranged spouses.
