Kyle Richards Clarifies Her Recent Reunion With Dorit: “It Was Actually..."
Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley aren't exactly back to being BFFs just yet.
Kyle Richards' Amazon Live on August 5 shed new light on where she stands with Dorit Kemsley after they were recently spotted together for the first time amid their months-long rift stemming from Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The friendship update was prompted by a livestream viewer asking Kyle if she's "still close" with Dorit. Her response? "We had a lot of things to work through, so, stay tuned."
As for Kyle and Dorit's recent reunion, the outing was initially thought to be in celebration of Lisa Rina's birthday, but it turns out that wasn't exactly the case. "I had dinner with Lisa Rinna, Erika [Jayne], and Dorit because it was all three of their birthdays," Kyle clarified. "I saw paparazzi pictures and they said it was Lisa's birthday [but] it was actually all three of their birthdays."
The group was also meant to be celebrating Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's birthday — "[They're] all Cancers," Kyle noted — but she was unfortunately "sick that night."
"But I took them to dinner for their birthdays," Kyle added.
Kyle and Dorit reunited yet again shortly after to attend Sutton Stracke's fashion show for her Sutton Brands Green Label Capsule Collection.

In addition to taking Dorit out to dinner, Kyle also wished her a happy birthday (and "Happy Cancer season") along with Erika, Lisa, and Teddi in an Instagram post that featured a photo that was taken after the helicopter ride in France on RHOBH Season 9 Episode 19.
Prior to Dorit's birthday, Kyle publicly weighed in on her ongoing separation from her husband, Paul "PK" Kemsley. "I feel bad for them," Kyle said during a May 15 Amazon Live stream. "You know, going through that is difficult enough without everybody wanting to know all the details. So, you know, I feel terribly for them."
Later, during a May 30 Amazon Live stream, Kyle revealed that she wants to be there for Dorit when the time is right. "But, you know, I have hope to eventually be able to be there for her," she admitted. "That would be nice, [but] right now we have things, obviously, to work through."
Kyle doubled down on her assertion that things have changed between her and Dorit in a June 30 interview with Us Weekly. "The dynamics have shifted tremendously this year," she said, noting that neither of them have been supporting each other in their marriage separations. "Unfortunately, that's not where we're at right now in our relationship. We're both going through different but similar situations. So, it is unfortunate that we're in this position."
