Lala Kent on Her Friendship with Kristen Doute: "She Just Wears Her Crazy on Her Sleeve and I Love That About Her"

Every season on Vanderpump Rules, the drama seems to pour out of this group of friends (or frenemies in most cases) like a bottle of Vanderpump Rosé. Even after a sincere apology from Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Lala Kent at the Season 5 reunion, few Vanderpump fans would ever expect to see any level of friendship emerge among Lala and Katie, Stassi Schroeder, and Kristen Doute, but the friendship is real and here to stay. When Lala stopped by Bravo's The Daily Dish podcast, hosts Megan Segura and Rachael Roberts asked her about how her new camaraderie with Kristen, in particular, came about. 

"How crazy is that?" Lala admitted to how unlikely the kinship between her and Kristen seems to viewers. She admits that while some see Kristen's intense personality, Lala sees an authenticity she's learned to appreciate about her new friend. "You know, a lot of people sit there and they're like, 'She's crazy,' and I'm like, 'No, she's just real.' She just wears her crazy on her sleeve, and I love that about her."

Lala explained on the podcast that Kristen cheered her on when she launched her new cosmetics line: "She was so kind and supportive."

But what may be the most surprising is the love Kristen has displayed for Lala's very private relationship with her longtime beau. "It's very telling about someone when they just randomly text you and say, like, 'Hey, I just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day, to you and your boo.' Wow, you are a really nice person," Lala told Megan and Rachael. "She's a good one."
