Kristen Doute Lends Her Support to Scheana Shay Following Divorce Announcement
The #PumpRules pal sent "love" following confirmation of the Shays' split.
On Wednesday, Scheana Shay and Mike Shay confirmed they are divorcing after two years of marriage, adding, "We are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success."
Shortly after the pair shared the news, Kristen Doute headed to Instagram to show her support for her pal. In a post that references a heartwarming Winnie-the-Pooh quote ("Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think"), she had this message for the Vanderpump Rules SURver: "@scheanamarie love you."
Scheana reiterated on Twitter Wednesday evening that while she and Mike may no longer be together "we will always remain friends."
The couple's 2014 wedding ceremony was captured in Season 3 of Vanderpump Rules. The series has followed the highs and lows of their relationship, from their engagement to dealing with Mike's substance abuse issues last season. Check out throwback photos of the couple, below.
