Kristen Doute on Fall-Out with Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz: "They’re Still My Sisters to Me"

The Witches of WeHo have been on the outs for the past few months. The group, which consists of Vanderpump Rules cast members Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder, and Katie Maloney-Schwartz, hasn't been its usual tight-knit clan, and Kristen wasn't at Stassi and Beau Clark's engagement festivities. On Stassi's podcast Straight up with Stassi, she shared of her and Katie's fall-out with Kristen, “If taking a break from someone is a bitch move and makes me nasty, then I don’t give a f–k... I have to take care of my own mental and emotional health first.’”

Kristen then told Hollywood Life how it was seeing her estranged besties at BravoCon 2019 in November. "We exchanged pleasantries,” she said. “We were all there for the same reason and we all have a job to do, and we were all on the same team when it comes to the show, but that was it.”

As for whether she sees the Witches getting back together once again, Kristen explained, “I never say never to any of that. I love them both. My personal POV is I love them both. They’re still my sisters to me. I still have a lot of love. They asked for space, so I’m giving them space.”

They may have even made progress in the direction of friendship. Kristen shared, "Katie actually texted me the day that my book came out for pre-order on Amazon, and she sent me a screenshot that she had pre-ordered it and texted congratulations. And I thought that was over the moon sweet of her and I really appreciated it.” 

She also added that she is on better terms currently with Katie than Stassi. "I mean maybe it’s just a respect thing for Stassi because Katie’s definitely kinder to me and more friendly than Stassi is. But Katie is her own person," she said.
