Kristen Doute Asks for Understanding Amid Struggles with Boyfriend Brian Carter: "Please Just Be Kind"

Kristen Doute's relationship with her boyfriend Brian Carter appears to be going through a turbulent time this season of Vanderpump Rules. That was so much the case that her emotions over what's been going on back home seemed to boil over during the girls' trip to Solvang, California, where Kristen opened up to her gal pals about what's really been going on in her relationship.

Most notably, Kristen shared a teary heart-to-heart with Stassi Schroeder in Monday night's episode. As Kristen opened up about her dissatisfaction with Carter and their relationship, Stassi suggested that maybe it's time for her to move on and find someone who will make her happy. Kristen later called the moment "heavy" while reflecting on the episode on Twitter. "I want to reiterate that @stassi was only repeating what I had told her," she tweeted. "I love her [and] all of my girls for wanting the best for me."

Kristen also asked for fans to show some empathy toward her and Carter. "Carter is a really wonderful man and people go through things," she also said in the tweet. "Please just be kind because man, we’re all human."

Famous Bravo superfan Heather McDonald sent some love Kristen's way on Twitter. "It must be so hard to vent when cameras are there while [you're] fighting with your boyfriend and then months later have to relive," she tweeted. "Your issues are very relatable know that."

Kristen shared an update on her relationship with Carter during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on February 18. "OK, you know what? Honestly, I bleed out for this show. I show every single second of everything, and so for this, I'm just gonna have to say we're figuring it out, especially if you want to talk about what's happening today, like the show airing and what's been going on in our relationship for the past year or more, we're figuring it all out," she explained. "So we'll let y'all know when we get to that place."

That same day, which also happened to be the day after Kristen's birthday, Carter posted a photo he took of his girlfriend on Instagram. In the caption, Carter made it clear that Kristen will always have a special place in his heart. "Got lucky with this one! She never [lets] me take her picture; she said she doesn’t want me to see a bad picture of her. I replied, not possible here’s proof," Carter gushed. "@kristendoute I love you and every part, especially the crazy."
