Kory Keefer Shares New Details About His Breakup from Sam Feher
Hear Winter House's Kory Keefer explain what he "didn’t prepare" Sam Feher for in the months leading up to their split.
Kory Keefer spoke out about his breakup from Samantha "Sam" Feher shortly after she announced that they had officially split on January 16, but now, he's sharing additional details about what led to their separation — including just how much of a role the Winter House Season 3 drama involving Malia White and Jordan Emanuel played.
Previously, Kory had simply acknowledged that he "hurt" Sam throughout their time together, especially when he was flirting with Malia and Jordan in the Winter House. "[I'm] so sorry for that."
“Navigating any relationship is difficult and doing it on TV and in the public eye is next level,” he continued at the time. “But I take full responsibility for how I acted on Winter House. It kills me to look back and see how my actions hurt Sam. I’m so sorry for that. I made this winter very, very difficult for her.”

How Kory Keefer's Winter House Antics Played a Role in His Breakup From Sam Feher
According to Kory, he and Sam were "good up until" she started to watch Winter House Season 3 play out week to week. "It sucks seeing some of the stuff when you’re doing stupid things or flirting with girls, and saying stuff," Kory said on the Real Moms of Bravo podcast on January 22. "I guess I didn’t prepare her for everything that happened."
He also admitted, "I don’t know if I’d be able to watch it back with her doing that with a guy. It would’ve been really tough.”
As such, the two began "fighting" about everything that went down in the Winter House months prior, much of which Sam had no knowledge of. As Kory put it, “We didn’t cheat on each other, but it felt like I did something really bad and we got over it, [but] now the public eye’s in it and so her friends, I’m sure, are hitting her up being like, ‘Why are you with this piece of sh-t? He’s such a douchebag. He’s doing this. He’s with these girls.’”
“It wasn’t great and that wasn’t why we broke up," Kory clarified, "but that definitely put extra stress on it and it made things really difficult this winter."
Kory Keefer's Regrets About the Winter House Season 3 Reunion
In case you need a refresher on the timeline of Kory and Sam's split, she broke up with him shortly before the Winter House Season 3 reunion aired in late December. Looking back, Kory said he has some regrets about said reunion.
“[There were] things I said on the reunion I wish I would’ve said differently," he explained. "I felt like I was under a microscope anytime anyone asks something about our relationship or her, I was fumbling, or I didn’t say the correct thing. And everything I said, she was looking at it with five different lenses of like, ‘Well, what did you mean by that?’ Our relationship before this, it wasn’t put under a microscope. If I said something that wasn’t up to par, it was like, ‘Whatever.’”
