Kim Zolciak has an update on her friendship with Tracey Bloom. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has long a soft spot for the Don't Be Tardy chef, who has been close with The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and her family for years now.
For one thing, Kim and Tracey have bonded over food. Tracey has even indulged Kim's love of candy corn by making her a candy corn cake. Plus, Kim's daughter Brielle Biermann and Tracey have collaborated on some epic dinners and top-tier cookies in the past.
Kim and Tracey have also bonded over motherhood. Kim has six kiddos who know and love Tracey, and Tracey has a son of her own. In 2019, Kim made a major announcement about her foodie friend.
"Finally, I can tell you who that precious baby is that you have seen on my social media!" she wrote. "His name is Kannon and he is [Tracey's] SON! We love him so much (maybe even more than we love Tracey)," she quipped. So, are Kim and Tracey still close? We have our answer!
Kim Zolciak Reveals Where She Stands with Tracey Bloom Today
In a recent Ask Me Anything post on Instagram, one of Kim's followers asked her how Tracey is doing. Kim responded: "Love her." She continued: "When I think of her all I want is her food to eat," and added a cry-laughing emoji.
Tracey is no doubt cooking up a storm at her Georgia home. She recently released a book called Cooking in Full Bloom, which features recipes for Cajun chicken alfredo and mushroom-swiss burgers. She even shared an Instagram post that showed her and Kannon shopping for recipe ingredients last year.
Tracey Bloom's Son Kannon Heads to Kindergarten
But Kannon's not just helping his mama whip up her famous comfort food. The little one graduated from preschool this past spring and is now an official kindergartener. (Remember this little peanut? Where does the time go?)
In an Instagram post from August 1, the chef shared a video of her son on his first day of Kindergarten. He wore a t-shirt that read "Full Speed Ahead," and seemed excited to explore his colorful classroom.
"We were not late!" Tracey wrote in the caption. "He was like SEE YA at the Front door!!! I was like CAN I PLEASE WALK YOU TO YOUR CLASS ON THE FIRST DAY."
Previously, the cookbook author shared a peek inside Kannon's preschool graduation. The videos showed her son in a cap and gown, looking cute and accomplished as could be.
"Proud of my son," Tracey wrote in her caption. And she was proud of herself as well. "This is a huge milestone for me," she continued. "Getting him to school was my biggest worry. Check!!! Off to [kindergarten.]"
