Kenya Moore Says Marc Daly Is Engaged as They Move Towards Finalizing Their Divorce
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kenya Moore revealed why her divorce isn't official yet.
Back in December 2023, Kenya Moore revealed that her divorce from Marc Daly was about to be finalized more than three years after the spouses first separated.
"After more than three years of litigation, I have finally been granted a divorce," Kenya told PEOPLE back on December 12. "I want to thank everyone who prayed for and uplifted me when I needed it the most."
She added that she was looking forward to her "next chapter" with their daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly, and that she was hopeful to find a person to have a "happily ever after ending" with in the future.
Fast-forward to February 2024, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member appeared on The Breakfast Club to talk about the reason why her divorce isn't official yet, and to share a surprising update on her ex's relationship status today.

Why Kenya Moore's Divorce Isn't Finalized
Though Kenya shared that she had been "granted a divorce" just before the holidays, her split still has yet to be finalized.
"The judge still didn’t sign off yet, so the paperwork is there," she said during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. "So, I'm waiting. Every day I’m checking online to see if he signed off, he didn’t yet."
According to another comment she made on the radio series, there's a big reason why Marc may want to formalize the split sooner rather than later.
Kenya Moore's Ex, Marc Daly, Is Engaged
As Kenya explained, the divorce proceedings between her and Marc took many years because her ex wanted, at a point, to remain together. However, she said she didn't think that he was doing the right "work" to keep their union going.
"What if he started doing the work now?" co-host Charlamagne tha God asked.
"Well, apparently he has a fiancée now, so I don't know," Kenya revealed, much to everyone else's surprise.
Kenya didn't share many other details about Marc's fiancée, or about their relationship. However, she did say, "Good luck to her."
"I wish you well," she said, addressing Marc and his fiancée. "It's not my problem anymore. Please, judge, hurry up and sign my papers, and then that's it."
As she waits for the judge to sign off on her divorce, Kenya is feeling optimistic about her future.
"I just feel a relief," she said. "This is like the new era [of] me. I'm gonna do any and everything I want to do. I feel like when you have someone taking up that space in your life, you can't have anybody else come fill it, because there's no space there. They're always in the back of your mind..."
