Kenya Moore Says an Uber Driver Kicked Marc Daly out During One of Their Arguments
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom recalled one of their most intense moments before their breakup.
If you thought Kenya Moore and Marc Daly's interactions during the Black Man Lab charity event were tense, that is nothing compared to what happened next for the couple.
After Kenya and Marc announced their decision to divorce, Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss visited their friend to console her in the March 8 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Kenya opened up to Cynthia and Kandi about the moments leading up to that announcement.
"He forced my hand with that. Just everything just happened so fast," Kenya recalled. "So we went to the event, and he just seemed just very irritated the whole time we were there and not loving, not being nice to me. He was just like saying little things under his breath. It just seemed like everything I was doing was an issue."
The drama continued during the couple's ride home. "And then, I don't know what happened, but we ended up getting in the Uber, and we took off and then he was just livid. He was like, 'I didn't even want you to come,'" Kenya said in the below clip. "Somehow I ruined his night. Every time he gets mad, he goes in, he goes for my throat. It's like he can't stop until he feels like he is just completely destroying me."
Things got so heated between the two that Kenya alleged that the Uber driver asked Marc to exit the vehicle. "The Uber driver asked him to get out of the car. He asked him to leave," Kenya said. "It got really out of hand, and I told him, 'You can't come back here. Just go.'"
Despite announcing her intention to divorce Marc, Kenya wasn't sure what the future held for her and her husband at that point. However, she knew that she couldn't continue to live like this.
"When you cross the line that he crossed the other night, I've been through too much in my life to accept that, just sit here and be in turmoil all the time or unhappy and crying. Definitely not. I can't," Kenya shared. "And I just feel like I have to, honestly, like look at my daughter's face... You're gonna look back at your mom and go, 'You know what, mom, I respect you, because you did the right thing. You did not stand for somebody treating you a certain way.'"
Kenya opens up more about what led to her split from Marc in The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 After Show, above.
