Kenya Moore Files for Divorce from Marc Daly
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom's rep confirmed she filed the documents in May.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kenya Moore has filed for divorce from Marc Daly. Kenya's rep confirmed to PEOPLE on Monday (August 9) that she filed the marriage dissolution documents in Fulton County, Georgia, in May.
The filing comes nearly two years after Kenya and Marc first confirmed they had separated in September 2019 after marrying in June 2017. Together, Kenya and Marc are parents to their 2-year-old daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly.
Since first announcing their plans to separate, Kenya has shared with fans how she was navigating the ups and downs in her relationship with Marc, especially during Season 13 of RHOA. Marc previously addressed the state of his marriage to Kenya in a statement to The Root in January, sharing in part, "After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage. I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom."
Back in March, Kenya appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and reacted to Andy Cohen's observation that, amid their split, she and Marc's status "kind of changes every time I talk to you."
"It does, because emotions are really high, Andy. I've never been through a divorce, I've never had a separation, I've never had a child with anyone. So, all of these things are new for me," Kenya said at that time. "And with Marc, I think, he's still in love. I still have love for Marc. We are just in a very difficult place, and no one really wants to pull the trigger."
Earlier this summer, Kenya and Marc went on a vacation together along with their daughter and got in some "family time" during a trip down to the Bahamas in June.
