Kenya Moore's Ex-Boyfriend Matt Jordan Was Arrested in Arizona
The Real Housewives of Atlanta ex was charged with several alleged crimes.
Kenya Moore's ex-boyfriend Matt Jordan was arrested in Arizona last weekend, TMZ reports.
Matt allegedly got physical with his current girlfriend, Valerie Bell, in the parking lot of a Denny's in the early hours of the morning on Saturday, July 27, according to the arrest report obtained by TMZ. A second woman reportedly witnessed this and said Matt then got close to her and took her cigarettes, including one that was in her mouth, and threw them on the roof.
Matt had already left the Denny's by the time officers arrived, according to the arrest report, but Valerie called them a few hours later to say that he was at her home in Maricopa, Arizona, where the police eventually arrested him. Officers say they then discovered a warrant for his arrest stemming from another alleged incident in April, according to court documents.
Matt was charged with trespassing, aggravated assault, theft, and threatening/intimidating with damage to property, according to TMZ. He was still in custody as of press time and has a hearing scheduled for this week.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta chronicled Kenya's relationship with Matt in Seasons 8 and 9. Their whirlwind romance evolved into a tumultuous relationship by Season 9 when Kenya finally decided to break up with Matt for good.
Kenya would go on to marry Marc Daly in June 2017. The couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly, in November 2018.
Kenya confirmed her return to RHOA for Season 12 earlier this month.
