Katie Maloney Drops New Info on "Weird" Texts Jo Sent Her During a "Sensitive Time" with Schwartz
Katie is sharing details on the texts she received from Jo Wenberg after announcing her divorce from her Vanderpump Rules castmate Tom Schwartz.
On Season 11, Episode 8 of Vanderpump Rules, Katie Maloney revealed a surprising text she received from Jo Wenberg after announcing her divorce from Tom Schwartz.
In an interview during the March 19 episode, Katie explained Jo sent her a text that read: "Bieber loves you/I love you, and I'm so supporting of your inner thoughts and visions/live in the moment, you're a gem and I've always respected you. I [love] you." However, Katie shared, "a few months later," Jo ended up moving in with Tom.
As it turns out, Jo sent Katie more text messages regarding Tom, which she gave details about in the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 After Show video above. According to Katie, after Jo was "trying to be such a good friend to me and sending me that text when we announced our divorce," things took a turn.
"She had been hitting me up to be like, 'Hey, would you mind asking Tom if he needs a haircut?'" Katie said. "I'm like, 'First of all, don't you have Instagram? Can't you, like, send him a DM and ask him if he needs his haircut? It's not like you're asking anything inappropriate here. It's a f-cking haircut.'"
Katie continued, "She wouldn't just hit him up, she just kept hitting me up, and then next thing you know, it's like, she doesn't mind asking him to stay with him? That's a bigger ask than a haircut, at a really weird, kind of sensitive time when we're going through a divorce...you are weird. That is very weird to me."

Tom also shared his perspective on getting closer to Jo. "We never lived together," he clarified, "and we had always been kind of friends, but we had no line of communication or anything, and all the sudden, she came over and did my hair, and the next thing you know, over the course of maybe a month or two...we became really good friends."
Who is Jo Wenberg from Vanderpump Rules?
Jo is a hairstylist who was previously close friends with Kristen Doute. According to her JoMyGosh business page on Zola, Jo started cutting hair in her family's garage when she was 14 years old. Following her college graduation, Jo attended the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She moved to Los Angeles in 2012, and has styled hair for red carpet events, award shows, and weddings.
As for Jo's past romance with Tom, he explained on the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion that their friendship “did evolve into a situationship, or like a friends-with-benefits thing with clearly defined boundaries" after his divorce from Katie.
He added, “We were both coming out of long-term relationships, and for a minute there, we were each other’s happy place.
