Katie Maloney just shared a big update on her love life: She has a boyfriend.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member announced the news on the Oct. 16 episode of her and Dayna Kathan's podcast, Disrespectfully. Dayna was the one to broach the topic, playfully asking Katie, "Do you have any life updates that you would like to share?"
"I'll share," Katie conceded. "So, I have a boyfriend. Yeah, I'm in love."

Katie didn't share many details about her boyfriend other than the fact that he has to travel for work. That, and "he just makes me feel really special, and he's really special," Katie noted on her podcast. "I'm just really, really happy."
Dayna, for her part, had nothing but kind words to say about Katie's boyfriend. "He's very lovely," she said, while Katie added, "He's the most wonderful person I've ever met."

Katie has yet to reveal the exact timeline for her new relationship, but she shared some insight into how long she's known her boyfriend while recapping a recent trip she took to visit him. "I went to go see my boyfriend. He has to travel for work, so I went to go meet up with him, hang out with him, and spend some time [together]. And it was really amazing because I hadn't seen him in a few weeks," Katie explained. "And just being able to spend some quality time and just be around him was just really necessary. I had a really good time."

The news about Katie's boyfriend comes a couple of months after romance rumors were swirling about her and Love Island USA's Connor Newsum. Katie implied that the two had indeed gone on "a date" during the Aug. 7 episode of her podcast, but Ariana Madix shared a discouraging update days later on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
"Katie is not dating anyone," Ariana said when asked if Connor and Katie were still dating.

Prior to Katie and Connor's saga, the Something About Her co-owner had seemingly ditched the idea of dating altogether. More specifically, during a July appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Katie said, "Unless someone's really down to be serious about stuff, I don't really want to date. If someone wants to date me, they have to prove that they deserve a place in my life."
"I mean at this point, I was sort of casually dating around so much, and then I was like, OK, I think I'm much more emotionally available than I realized, so I was getting hurt a bit," she added.
