In case you missed it, the one-time besties had a serious falling out on the reunion when Lala accused Katie of saying things about Ariana Madix off-camera that were not in line with the things she was saying on camera. During an appearance on the July 2 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Katie opened up about the last time she spoke to Lala, and why she was so upset with what happened during the reunion.

She said, "I haven't spoke[n] to [Lala] since the reunion. I mean, yeah, I didn't see that coming."

As Katie explained, the two initially had a "falling-out six months before the season" began filming.

"We resolved [it]. We talked about things in San Francisco, we had a moment on the boat that was much longer than you saw," Katie said about discussing their issues on the show. "I mean, there was plenty of resolve. I mean, sometimes it just takes a little time to get fully back on track with someone."

How does Katie Maloney feel about her falling out with Lala Kent today?

The Disrespectfully co-host shared why it's taken a while for her to get back on track with Lala.

"I think her and I, and our lives are in slightly different places, and sometimes it just means you're not meeting on the same page," she continued. "And, I don't know, I just, I felt like, obviously she had been harboring certain feelings, and thinking certain things that I didn't know that she had felt, and so she was saving them for the reunion, which I didn't feel like was super authentic."

Katie added that it was "shocking" for her to find out that Lala had been feeling a "certain way" about her for "a very long time," and that she only found out about it at the reunion.

"I was just grossed [out.] I was icked out," Katie said about hearing what the pregnant mom was saying on the reunion stage.

When Lala didn't bring up her issue with Katie during the season, the Something About Her co-owner assumed it was because Lala was respecting her privacy.

"I had let her know that everything was good to go [with Ariana]," Katie recalled about a conversation she had with Lala about her concerns regarding her business relationship with Ariana.

"'If you're good, I'm good,'" she recalled Lala saying in response.

Will Katie Maloney forgive Lala Kent? She says...

Unfortunately, Katie doesn't see herself having the same kind of relationship with Lala ever again. When asked if she could forgive Lala for her reunion comments, Katie responded, "For violating my trust? No."

She explained, "Once you violate my trust like that, it's very hard to come back from [it]. Trust is, like, the most important thing to me."

Katie felt like her off-camera conversations were "private" and not "meant for camera[s]."

"Not everything is. The way you're talking about it means I should also, What? Read my diary. I'm allowed to have some kind of privacy and talk about emotions with people, like I do with my mom [and] I do with other friends," Katie added before addressing Lala directly. "You were one of those people, just because you also happen to be on the show, I have plenty of those conversations with you as well, where you're able to discuss things with me that are private, and I would never make public just for the sake of television."
