Kathy Wakile Shares an Exciting Update on Her New Jersey Home Build (VIDEO)
The RHONJ alum shared a new look at her future Franklin Lakes abode.
There's been a new development in Kathy Wakile’s ambitious home renovation.
On January 2, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum, who purchased the property in 2023 with her husband, Rich Wakile, celebrated the new year with a new peek at her home's construction.
"New Year, New Entry, New Home - Let's Go '2025,'" Kathy captioned an Instagram video re-posted from the construction company and framing specialist working on the home, WHM Enterprise. The video showed workers performing various tasks like drilling and framing pieces of wood together for what Kathy deemed was the "entry" for the in-process home.
They also added distinct architectural details, including a small pointed roof on top and a curved accent underneath the entryway.
The post also tagged construction company Faris Developers, and architectural designer Daniel Dagostino, who are part of the home's construction.
Kathy also took to her Instagram Stories to share how she had another idea for the courtyard leading into the house: a beautiful, Mediterrean villa-style fountain. "[T]hinking this would be an incredible addition from [Ancient Surfaces]," she wrote over the image, displaying what she had in mind.

Kathy previously shared a progress report on the property back in October 2024 when she revealed the pool project they were taking on.
The New Jersey mom first shared a photo of the original in-ground pool overlooking the beautiful lake and lush surroundings. “New Surprises Every Day Pool Challenge,” she wrote over the Story, seemingly implying she and her team were updating the existing pool.
Kathy also shared more peeks at the details of the construction process, revealing the various levels of the home's frame. The mom of two revealed another roof would be added to the existing structure.
“Roof tomorrow,” she wrote over the Stories, also revealing the couple's show-stopping lakeside views in the process.
Kathy and Rich confirmed the purchase of the home in March 2023, months after selling their previous residence also in Franklin Lakes. Tony Nabhan, the couple's real estate agent, shared the big news via Instagram with a photo of himself, Kathy, and Rich, standing on the property lot.
“I couldn’t be any happier for my clients on securing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Tony captioned the post shared with Kathy. “Nearly 2 acres with 300 feet of lakefront property. After enduring a barrage of offers, the Wakiles can now start on their newest project called home!” Since the post, Kathy has shared numerous updates on construction. She's also revealed a few renderings for the home.
In May 2023, for example, the cannoli entrepreneur provided an inside look at the home’s breathtaking outdoor space and previous interior. "A sneak [peek] into the early design process of our lakefront renovation," Kathy captioned the edited video.
