Kathy Hilton Shocked Paris with New Details About *Her* Friendship with Morgan Wade
The RHOBH sister also shared an update on where she currently stands with sisters Kim and Kyle Richards.
After a period of not speaking to one another, Kathy Hilton and her sister, Kyle Richards, are officially back on track in their relationship.
The family members reconciled when they attended niece Whitney Davis' wedding in Aspen, Colorado in June 2023, and they've been communicating and spending time together ever since.
In addition to reconnecting with one another following Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kathy has gotten to know Kyle's close friend, Morgan Wade.
Back in October 2023, Kathy attended one of Morgan's concerts with Kyle and with nieces Sophia and Alexia Umansky.
Kathy opened up about the experience, and she shared what it's been like to get to know Morgan during an appearance on the November 29 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. She also revealed more about her reconciliation with Kyle, and she shared where she stands with her other sister, Kim Richards, today.
Kathy Hilton Opens Up About Her Friendship with Morgan Wade
On WWHL, host Andy Cohen asked Kathy to share her thoughts on the country singer.
"You've met Morgan Wade, right? You went to the concert, and you've [met]," Andy said, before noticing that Kathy was pointing at her right ankle. "Wait a minute. You got a tattoo, too?"
The mom of four revealed that she had secretly gotten a tattoo, which was news to her daughter/fellow guest, Paris Hilton.
"What?! You have a tattoo?!" Paris asked.
"Morgan, Kyle, and I got a tattoo," Kathy clarified, before revealing that she got a four-leaf clover because it is her "favorite thing."
Paris, who was still shocked by the admission, responded, "I don't even have one!"
When Andy wondered how he missed seeing Kathy at the tattoo parlor with Morgan and Kyle, Kathy noted that the trio actually got inked up somewhere more private.
"Well, because it was at my house," she said. "Yes, and Kim was there, and she didn't want [one]... And Kim was like, 'This is a serious [thing] and I don't want to do that!' Like, then don't!"
After getting tattoos at the same time, it's no surprise that Kathy has formed a bond with Morgan.
"I love her. She is really a very humble, wonderful, lovely girl and very talented," Kathy said about the "Fall in Love with Me" songstress. "Seeing her on stage is really something."
Kathy and Paris Hilton Reveal If They Were Surprised by Kyle Richards' Separation
After several months of speculation, Kyle confirmed on the October 25 episode of WWHL that she was separated from her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky.
Kathy said she was somewhat surprised when she found out that the two had separated.
"I was [surprised]," she said, before reflecting on how many years the couple had been married for. "You know what? I was very emotional, like looking at those pictures and [they were] so young. She has made a lot happen, and [she's] a great mother, and a great wife. Yes and no. Yes and no."
Paris noted that she was also taken aback by the separation news, but that her aunt "looks hotter than ever, and [she's] so happy for her."
Kathy Hilton Opens Up About Her Relationships with Sisters Kyle and Kim Richards
The Paris in Love cast member is in a good place with both of her sisters, but there is one who she's been texting much more lately.
"Usually both the same, but recently, Kyle," Kathy said when asked about her texting habits with them both. "I'm sending her a lot of spiritual quotes and checking in on her and bugging her."
She also shared how she thinks her recent reconciliation with Kyle came to be.
"I'm the type that does apologize and apologize. She's a Capricorn and very hardworking [and] stubborn, so," Kathy said, before noting that there was a change in their relationship this time around. "I think that I really feel now that she loves me. [Before,] I thought, 'She's so busy.' So, it's really nice. She's my baby, you know?"
