Karen Huger Wants to Make Something "Crystal Clear" About Sitting on That Board with Wendy Osefo

The Real Housewives of Potomac ladies all hoped to get to know each other on a deeper level during their first girls' trip of the season in the August 30 episode. But right before she arrived at Monique Samuels' lake house in Newburg, Maryland, Karen Huger found out that the newest addition to RHOP, Wendy Osefo, had already been talking about the most intimate details of the grande dame's life.

So, Karen confronted Wendy about her talking about her sex life with husband Ray Huger during the group's first dinner on their trip (clip above). Wendy explained that as she's been trying to get to know Karen, she feels that she has been acting "dismissive" toward her. "I said it to you, and I'll say it in front of everybody, I don't know you," Karen told Wendy in response. "This is the first time that we've sat down for more than five minutes."

But Wendy has said that she knew Karen even before she joined RHOP, and she explained how they had worked together as members of the same board. "Karen, we sit on the board together, and we're on the same subcommittee of the damn board," Wendy said in an interview in the episode. "There are five people on the subcommittee."

Karen addressed Wendy's comments on Twitter on August 30. "For the Record so it is Crystal Clear: There was never a board meeting nor a sub committee where you, Wendy, and I physically were in one another’s presence, we never had a face to face meeting. Any conference calls where we were participants were not visual; no Zoom/Skype -  PERIOD," she explained. "Adding to that, there was a snapshot or two of you and I posing on a red carpet and that is the extent of our relationship until you started hanging out with the #RHOP ladies. I never broke bread with you before that." 

During the episode, Karen and Wendy resolved to get to know each other better by going to dinner, which Karen said that she is "looking forward to" on Twitter.
