Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams Reunite with Shereé Whitfield for a Night of "Black Girl Magic"
Shamea Morton hosted The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies at her home to watch Brandy and Monica's Verzuz event.
Some of The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies recently came together for a night of music and friendship.
Shamea Morton hosted a viewing party for Brandy and Monica's Verzuz event on August 31, and several members of the RHOA family attended, including Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, and Shereé Whitfield. Kandi shared a gorgeous photo of the foursome during the event.
"#Verzuz brought out the black girl magic!" Kandi wrote in the caption to the post showing a pic of the ladies all smiles to be spending time together (below).
With an impressive spread of food and signs for attendees to cheer on their favorite singer, Shamea definitely outdid herself with this soirée. "Shamea, you really know how to throw a party," Kandi told her friend in a video in her Instagram Story. "I thought I knew how to throw a damn party."
Kandi also sang along to Brandy and Monica's 1998 mega-hit "The Boy Is Mine" in a video in her Instagram Story, making sure to point to her husband Todd Tucker, who also attended the party.
Even though Kandi has long been good friends with Monica and even co-wrote her 2002 song "Uh Oh," she applauded both artists for an epic sing-off. "I loved it. I mean, I love both of them," Kandi said after Brandy and Monica's Verzuz livestream, adding that all of their songs are "dope." "Everybody already debating about who won. I feel like they both killed it, in my opinion."
Porsha, whose sister, Lauren Williams, also attended the party, agreed with Kandi that both Brandy and Monica gave unforgettable performances. "Man, thank you!! I needed tonight, it was EVERYTHING," Porsha wrote on Instagram. "Queens @monicadenise @brandy."
She also reminded her followers to make their voices heard in the upcoming presidential election. "Now make sure you all V O T E In the upcoming Presidential election!!!!" Porsha wrote on Instagram.
