Here's How Kandi Burruss Reacted to Tamar Braxton Asking Her to Make up with Phaedra Parks
Kandi Burruss and Tamar Braxton discussed The Real Housewives of Atlanta drama while on Celebrity Big Brother.
After she resolved her own drama with Kandi Burruss during Season 2 of Celebrity Big Brother this past winter, Tamar Braxton figured it was time to see if she could do anything to fix another one of The Real Housewives of Atlanta mogul's famous falling outs.
During the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show on Sunday night, Tamar revealed that she and Kandi spoke about her major drama with Phaedra Parks during their time in the Celebrity Big Brother house (clip above). "I told her, I said, 'You know what? We are talking about forgiveness, don't you think you should forgive Phaedra for the things that she's done?'" Tamar, who was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother Season 2, recalled. "She's like, 'Well, that's different.' I was like, 'Sis, forgiveness is forgiveness is forgiveness!'"
Host Andy Cohen then remarked that it was "interesting" to hear that since he's always known Kandi to be "someone who can forgive usually." "Yeah, but not Phaedra," Tamar said. "[She's] not ready."
The subject came up during the After Show when a caller asked Tamar and her fellow WWHL guest Lizzo who they would like to see return to RHOA. Lizzo named Kenya Moore, and Tamar said Phaedra because she'd like to see her reunite with Kandi "and figure out what actually happened and is she sorry?" "I just want to see an apology," Tamar said.
Earlier in Sunday's episode of WWHL, Tamar opened up more about coming into the Celebrity Big Brother house with a lot of tension between her and Kandi as a result of some drama that went down when they toured together in late 2017. Tamara said on WWHL that she "was surprised" that Kandi had been so unaware of the bad blood between them. "Come on, I didn't have the drama by myself, and I definitely wasn't in the situations by myself," Tamar shared. "I just felt that she didn't want to bring the issues out on television where there's cameras 24/7."
Though getting all of their issues out in the open caused some conflict between Tamar and Kandi, it ultimately brought these Georgia Peaches closer together. Kandi confirmed that she and Tamar are "good now" when she stopped by the Clubhouse in March.
