Josh & Heather Altman Face Unexpected “Hurdles” with $15M Listing: “What the F-ck?”
Josh and Heather Altman's newest listing might prove to be much more than they bargained for as they struggle to get inside.
Josh Altman can sell anything when it comes to luxury real estate — but it's going to be hard when he can't actually get inside the house.
In a preview for the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 15 premiere, which airs on July 10, Josh and his wife, Heather Altman, are looking to sell a $15 million property in Beverly Hills. The only issue is that the spouses aren't able to get access to the house to show it to prospective buyers.
In the clip, which you can watch at the top of this post, Josh discovers that the property is tenant-occupied after hosting a successful open house.
"What do you mean? I can't get access to the house?" Josh asks Heather.
"No, they just did another short-term rental," Heather says, and Josh responds, "What the f-ck?"
The Altman Brothers agent had been looking to bring a client to the home, who he said was "the perfect buyer."
With tenants renting out the home, neither Josh nor Heather can show the property. As Heather explains in an interview, the team of owners have been taking on numerous short-term renters in order to try to cover the carrying costs of the house.
"That's crazy," Josh says.

As Josh shares in his own interview, the home is being listed for about $5 million less than the owners' ideal asking price because of the difficult market.
"As if this property didn't have enough hurdles for me to jump over, I have a new crowd of buyers ready to go, and I can't get access," he laments.
While Josh does understand why the owners are looking to make some money while the house is on the market, he's worried about it affecting their chances to actually sell it.
"In the short-term, it's great. In the long term, you're just putting a band-aid on a wound that is just going to keep going and going," he concludes.

In a different clip, which you can check out below, Josh and Heather offer a tour of the aforementioned property during an open house. The property features a 7,200 square foot main house with five bedrooms and six bathrooms and wraparound terraces.
There's also a bonus area that is just a concrete room sitting beneath the main property. As Heather explains in the video, a buyer could build out that space and add to the home's overall value in the future.
As for exterior space, the house also has an infinity edge pool that Josh notes is one of the best in Beverly Hills.
