Step Inside Josh Flagg's Ultra-Chic Living Room in His New House (PHOTOS)
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles realtor's gorgeous living room features 1960s charm with contemporary details.
Josh Flagg recently moved into a “mid-century masterpiece” in the Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills, California. Lucky for us, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent recently shared a peek inside the home previously owned by musician Charlie Puth.
The house in question, which Josh purchased for a cool $14 million, is stunning, with gorgeous wood panel detail and high ceilings. "[B]ack home," Josh wrote over a November 24 Instagram Story video that showed his boyfriend, Kelton, hanging out in the living room area presumably after traveling (Kelton lives in New York City and Josh visits regularly).
We also spotted some beautiful decorative details in the video, including a tufted gray couch, plenty of green plants, an orange throw pillow with a tiger face print, a large coffee table brimming with decorative books, a vase with white roses, and other decorative objects.
We can't wait to see more of Josh's design touches to the midcentury modern home.
Details on Josh Flagg's New Home
According to Architectural Digest, Josh's house features five bedrooms and four bathrooms and was built in 1965 by architect Rex Lotery. The stylish abode was originally owned by the longtime producer of The Tonight Show, Freddie de Cordova, and was reportedly frequented by advisors to former president Ronald Reagan.
The property wasn't Josh's first choice, however, as we saw on MDLLA Season 14.
After purchasing his “dream” home in the Beverly Hills flats, sight unseen, for $9 million, the real estate agent realized the house needed to be completely gutted and would require years of renovations (revisit the moment in the video above).
On the November 19 episode of The Real Talk talk show, Josh gushed about his new home. “I never thought I’d buy a mid-century house, but it’s such a special house,” he shared, first noting why he was apprehensive about making the purchase while still acting as the steward of the aforementioned home on Bedford Drive.
He continued: “So I took a look at it, and I was like, I really, really, like this house. I don’t know why, it’s not my vibe, but there’s something very special about it. I’m gonna enjoy it for a couple of years, but then in a couple of years, I’m going to do everything I want to do to the house, and then probably sell it."
"Now I just have to figure out what I’m gonna do with my other house," he concluded.
While we wait for a full tour of Josh's stunning new house, watch the video above to see his original dream home he now has "no intentions" of living in or selling.
