Joe Giudice Confirms If He Kept up with Real Housewives of New Jersey in Prison
Yes, both of the prisons where Teresa Giudice's husband was incarcerated subscribed to Bravo.
Teresa Giudice's husband, Joe Giudice, spent 41 months behind bars, and unfortunately missed some major moments in his family's life. Of course, Joe had the opportunity to see his family on TV on The Real Housewives of New Jersey while he away — so did he keep up with the show?
In the exclusive Bravo Insider video above, first shared with Bravo Insider members and filmed during The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked, Joe revealed, "Occasionally, guys would come and get me and tell me that the show was on, and occasionally I would watch a little bit here and there, but not really. I didn't watch it that much but I would watch certain things here and there."
He added that he mostly kept up with his family in the media via magazines.
If it's surprising that he didn't tune in each week while he was away, Joe has an explanation: "It was actually painful to watch them on television; it was actually sad. I remember the one episode where my daughter was waving through the window when I was leaving to go to Fort Dix," he recalled. "That was like gut-wrenching; I couldn't even watch that."
