How Is Teresa Giudice Supporting Husband Joe While He's in Prison?
The #RHONJ mom's attorney gives an update on how the couple is doing during this difficult time.
It's no secret that the past couple of years have been difficult for Teresa Giudice and her family. The Real Housewives of New Jersey author served 11 months in prison from January 2015 to December 2015 and her husband Joe Giudice began his 41-month prison sentence on March 23 after pleading guilty to multiple fraud charges in March 2014.
However, Teresa and Joe have faced and will continue to face these challenges as a couple. "They're a very strong family, and they're holding together the best they can," Giudice family attorney James J. Leonard Jr. told E! News at The Real Housewives of New York City premiere in Manhattan on Wednesday. "They're very supportive of one another. They're a very unique pair. Because she's gone through that experience, she's able to help him anticipate what he's gonna go through. And she's a rock for him, as he was a rock for her."
Teresa was also spotted supporting her friend Dorinda Medley and the rest of the RHONY cast at the premiere party. Even though her Instagram photos show her having a blast, Joe was still not far from her thoughts during the night. "Had fun last night supporting my good friend @DorindaMedley & #RHONY last night, only thing missing was my Juicy Joe .. Miss him," she tweeted Thursday.
But all in all, Teresa is glad to be back home with her and Joe's four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. "She's doing great," James said. "She's really getting back into being a mother and getting back to life."
And how do the Giudice daughters feel about being reunited with their mom? "Ecstatic. Beyond ecstatic," James told E! News. "They're very happy to have her home and trying to get everything back to normal."
